A Day At The Beach
In spite of the weather we set off with high hopes to the beach. We ate some very nice ice cream and the out came the sun in a very unexpected fashion.
Maddie-Ane enjoyed burying her duck, eating a few handfuls of sand and mooching off down the beach on her own as I was defending our stuff from encroaching seagulls.
We still have sand everywhere!
Soft Play Time
The weather seems to have taken a turn for the vile so we have had to find some alternative entertainment or risk becoming waterlogged.
We found Machinations they have balls, bouncy animals, rabbits and nice cake for mommy.

A Day At The River Cottage
Tim loves River Cottage so when their events barn burned down just days before he was due to go on his meat smoking course there were sad faces all round. Knowing he would wear us all out with his overexcitement before he could get to his rescheduled course in May I thought it best to take him to the spring fair, thereby saving my sanity.
We loved it. We ate lots of some cake, some burgers, watched some puppets and some Morris dancing and brought some rather lovely strawberry plants and other growing stuff to start our kitchen garden.
And Maddie-Ane wore a very cute sun hat.
Llangadfan Walk
Well we walked, Maddie-Ane mooched a lift from me after trying to steal my ice cream and rubbing garlic bread on my jeans. I should strike.
Ty Bach Twt
Well more of a pop up tent really. Maddie-Ane has turned the living room into her own colourful play world. Nothing to do with me at all!
Quack Quack
Ducks. Maddie-Ane likes ducks. Not real ones so much although they are ok maybe. Plastic ones are what she loves. Particularly the red one. And the reindeer one. Sigh.
Swingin’ about
She does like it really, it just amuses her to scowl every time there is a camera near her.
Maddie Led Weaning
AKA extreme food sport. Thank goodness we have a dog and a washing machine and plenty of shampoo.
It may not be clean but it really is fun.
And it turns out Maddie-Ane is not a fussy eater, but heaven help you if you don’t put enough food down in time!
Ahhh Benji!
Benji mostly likes sleeping. He will get up occasionally to prevent anyone moving furniture with a quick nip or to ‘help’ with laundry. However it seems he has a soft spot for the baby, or maybe just the food she drops.
