Autumn Chutney

Today we decided to use up the apples from the trees at both parents houses by making a nice chutney.

We chopped 2 pounds of apples, 4oz figs and 8 oz of onions and brought them to the boil in a pan with 450ml of vinegar, 8oz of sugar, 15g paprika, 15 g mixed spice and 15g coriander.

All brought to the boil then left to simmer for 2 hours before we put it in nice clean jars.

Our house now smells of baked apples, yum.
